Niloc and Barbas are the adopted twin sons of Throgna Stormrider, the Northman’s greatest warrior and leader of the Northern Islands. Despite their lack of Magic, Northmen are world-renowned for their prowess on the battlefield and hired as mercenaries to fight on the Mainland. On their 18th birthday, the twins lead their Northmen kin on a campaign when a series of unforeseen magical events hurl them into an unknown world of politics, magical wonders, companionship, and brutal conflict.
