Ever since the realist regime took power, all projections—elements borne from the imagination of those few who possess the gift—are illegal. Dr. Evan Flynn thinks he has struck gold with his latest invention: anti-illusion glasses. But he must first convince the Police Projectionist Department to buy in. If he fails, his debts will crush him along with any hopes of curing his mom. And then he meets Nadia, an idealist rebel whose projections are recoloring their grim reality.
