Alien life is real, or so recent exoplanetary surveys suggest. Recently orphaned uni student Niamh finds out firsthand when they're unwittingly employed by a mysterious operation to survey the planet and the little guys who live there. As their tasks increase in difficulty, Niamh realizes that playing along doesn't just affect their own future, but humanity's at large.
