For Greek Orthodox Christians, Easter doesn't fall on the same day as the Catholic one does (most of the time). Our way of practice has some similarities in that it is more casual, we give out Easter baskets and paint eggs, but tradition states that the only necessary colour to paint our eggs is red, we have special Easter cookies called koulourakia and holiday bread called tsoureki. God bless!
