Lucid, a new born kitten, is dragged into a dark world where felines called "Maus" are agents of ancient Egyptian Gods, assigned to hunt and eradicate demon spawns known as "Nightmares". Lucid quickly realizes that the world he was born in are filled with cats that have magical powers, rats can talk and where "Nightmares" are not the only thing that wants him dead.
