Lucan resigned himself to being the sole deterrent of destructive Fallen Angels and Lower Demons. But a new decree from the Ether forces him to not only take on them, but an even worse hoard of heathens: the Mongrel Demons. Lucan is not to take on the fearful group of demons alone, being joined by a disagreeable companion: Raphael. Together they must hunt down these monsters and return them to the Ether regardless of if they want to. Their desires do not matter, for a decree from god is absolute
