Dysphoria is one of the main identifiers currently to identify trans people in the medical field, and in my country experiencing dysphoria is required in order to receive any trans care. a very common tool to alleviate some dysphoria (e.g. while working toward surgery) for transmasc folk is chest binding, which if done unsafely (method or prolonged use) can leave lasting damage.
