A poem by Ahmed Fouad Negm that sheds the light on the gaps between social classes and injustices inflicted by the elite on unprivileged classes. The poem narrates the story of a young man named ‘Somaa’ who was strolling beside the luxurious mansion owned by the lady ‘El-Set’ and was attacked by the lady’s dog. The man was then blamed to annoy the lady’s dog and was asked to apologize for the dog. The story is allegedly inspired by an actual incident happening in the 1960s.
