Jane is small, Jane is weak, Jane wants to be a gladiator! In a time where virtual reality has become a part of everyday life, Jane dreams of competing in the virtual combat game "Leapyear." Her down-to-earth family is skeptical of the new technology, and Jane holds deep-seated envy towards her older brother, John.
