Inside OuT: A Trans Tale is the story of Haru, a teen struggling with her gender identity, stumbles upon an unusual book store where she meets young amputee girl, Kyouko, who can see Haru's attempts to hide the fact that she is trans by dressing as a high school boy. The two help one another navigate each of their Gender Journeys one day at a time while meeting many other Gender Non-conforming individuals along the way.
