Hexile revolves around a group of college students with completely different personalities who end up friends after meeting in an online game. This friendship eventually pierces the barrier of the virtual world and into the real one. As they see the game becoming a possible threat from an unknown enemy, they must also join forces while offline to find out what is causing the mysterious disappearances, leaving their avatar-confident selves behind and combining their real-life skills.
