Edgar Stone is a quiet office worker who lives in Maple City. His life is pretty ordinary, except that for certain reasons he is feared by the children of the city. One day as Edgar is returning home, he witnesses a young girl being chased by a group of mobsters, and he decides to follow them. Will following that girl lead to a change in Edgar's life?
