Fiat Lux Conflict is centered around Spero King, a college freshman at the City University. Spero realizes there is something strange going on in the City one night after having a run-in with a creature that seemed like a nightmare. After going to a place known as Xanthium, a world parallel to that of the Earth. There Spero learns that there are much more mysterious things in the world.
