Yumeko is born with two horns on her forehead. The Village she lives in suffers from incidents that where caused by demons. So Yumeko wasn't born with the best requirement. The people in the Village made Yumeko pay for the incedents because she looks like a child from a demon. Thats why she wants to prove everyones thoughts wrong by becoming a Demon Hunter!
