In a walled city-state, those with supernatural abilities struggle beneath the boot of discrimination from humans. Sylas has lost everything to humanity, leaving him with little to call a home or family. Struggling to use his anguish as a fuel for ambition, he joins the notorious antigovernmental cell, "Dead Circus" in order to fix society so no one else will suffer like he has.
