In present day Země, the Dagmara have disappeared and magic is all but gone. Anežka, an edgewitch, tethered herself to the moon goddess, Svetlana, when she was a child, and now she believes that Svetlana is calling for her to defeat a dark entity. Jiři, a Head Researcher for the Council of Elders, is obsessed with obtaining forbidden knowledge. As their fates entangle, and corruption is unveiled, they discover the world is much bigger and darker than they ever could have imagined.
