Olivia Mason, a paranormal investigator, gets a call about a haunted property by a river. The flowing water of the river is said to give enough energy for the undead to cross paths to the living world. Olivia hopes to get some evidence of ghosts here. But she she gets something more appealing: a water barrier stained in the dark red, ancient blood of a horrifying spirit and a romance nobody thought could have manifested.
