A young boy, who suffers abuse from his father, is abandoned in the middle of the woods on a cold winter day. Struggling to find his way home, he collapses and falls asleep, entering a strange, dreamlike world where things feel off. He encounters his mother, though he can't remember her face, and realizes he must escape this surreal world to return home.
