Set in a 16th-century pre-Hispanic Philippine barangay, a powerful Babaylan (shaman) grapples with a quiet but urgent dilemma. After receiving a heartfelt love confession from the son of the Datu (the village chief), she must find a way to escape the growing entanglement.
