Itzala fell from the Above World when her eyes were barely open into the Elemental Forest, the land where the six gods roam free. She is taken in by the god of fire, Suzko, and grows up beside his daughter Azeria. But four of the five other gods despise Itzala, and blame her for every little misfortune that comes their way. So, of course, when a strange pillar appears in the sky, Itzala is blamed. It wasn’t her, but if it wasn’t Itzala, where did the pillar come from?
