Many would envy those who grow up in a palace, but those raised under the Webmaster are nothing more than political tools. Young elves - and even some human children - are taken in with the promise of food and shelter, only to be forced to risk their lives to retrieve sensitive information. One such tool, Kyssa - a young and shockingly short elf - Makes a near deadly escape one night, but when a friend from her past appears to help her, she may find herself in more trouble than before.
