Wager, a lonely and overworked office worker, finds himself encountering an individual that looked exactly like him. This doppelgänger explains his story, they are a shapeshifting entity that roamed the earth for years, before finally taking the chance to live as human. They then explain their problem, their other half, who also adorns the same features as Wager, is out killing humans til they get what they want. It is in their hands to take care of the situation without getting framed.
