On her way home from school, Susie Stanfield, a regular all-American preteen is suddenly zapped from her plushy, bouncy home to a world that is sharp and dreary. Lost and alone, Susie learns that the only path back to her old life lies with a band of travelers, hunting and killing massive beasts.
