When a demon attacks Karasu and his boyfriend Pumpkin in their new apartment, he is approached by a talking crow claiming that they were void hunters, chosen heros that have contained spirits since ancient times. Now the two have been thrown into the wild world of spirits and demons with one goal, slay the demon that invaded their apartment in the first place.
