Over a thousand years after Earth was abandoned, humanity's new galaxy is on the brink of destruction - at least, that's what the intergalactic soldiers known as Scions claim. Their goal is to rescue the inhabitants of this galaxy's planets and find them a home aboard their mothership, the VESSEL. When a new crew of young Scions sets forth under Captain Atlas Merope, the friends encounter a force much darker than any of them expected.
