Running a bookstore is hard in a vampire apocalypse. After a war broke out between humans and vampires, humans were forced into heavily guarded towns. But protection comes at a heavy price: once a year the guards demand an insane amount of money or they’ll be tossed to the vampires outside the gates. However paying these prices is getting harder and harder as supplies run out. To make survival more difficult gangs prey on the weak for money. Not ideal for business.
