Set on getting away from home, finding herself, and experiencing life, Mika transfers from a virtual university to finish off the final two years (what she calls her varsity years) of schooling. With no back up plan and no friends, she finds herself figuratively and literally alone on a distant island. What lies in store for her, only time can tell.
