Sergeant Karel Pomsta, a Czechoslovakian soldier and a veteran of the second world war, finds himself wrapped up in the web of lies spun by the many secret agencies scattered across the globe. Sent to Antarctic following the success of Operation Highjump, the good sergeant will soon find there is far more dangerous things both above and below this frozen continent. Things much more insidious than illusions or mere boogiemen.
