A set of trials is given annually to the surrounding clans of the land by the Goddess Danu, a tradition that the reigning High Chieftain sees over. The champion brings home a year's worth of fertility for their clan's farms and recourses, as well as holding the honor of being the Goddess' chosen one. It takes bravery and skill, and sometimes its a dirty game.
