When deaths start to occur around a small town, caused by an unknown disease, Dr. James Wood is called in from the city to try and help the town’s only doctor find the cause. With the help of the towns doctor, Dr. Silvia Wagner, and her mentee, Tracy Moss, the three continue to try and find the cause of the illness, and possibly a cure, while finding out that this old town may have a few secrets of its own that were waiting to be revealed.
