Pursuing a bounty on the hypertrain to Searscent Three, Cursebreaker Tower receives an unexpected message from their estranged mentor. Struggling with doubt, they must confront their bounty and extinguish their curse before the next stop or they will abscond forever. In the ensuing panic, Tower must consider their place in the universe and the consequences of their actions.
