In 1970s Mexico, Rafael, an amateur boxer with dreams as vibrant as the culture that surrounded him, found himself facing a harsh reality. When his deeply religious parents discovered his truth - he was gay. They made a decision that would change his life forever. Rafael was sent to a therapy camp, disguised as a place of healing, but in truth, it resembled more of a prison. Trapped in a place that sought to erase his identity, Rafael yearned to regain his freedom and to be happy.
