In 2015, horrendous humanoid creatures spawn on earth, killing millions in their wake, and another million injured and left to run and hide. Amelia Woods, who was only a junior at the time, flees to the wilderness with her 4-year-old sister, Samarah Woods. With nowhere to go, they both stay together. About 12 years pass, and the world has adapted to the conditions. Trouble quickly rises when they discover, not everything is as it seems.
