Caroline, a 13 year old girl who has began to develop feeling for her girl best friend, Sara. Caroline sees these shadowy figures, and eventually is kidnapped to shadow land. She discovers that these shadowy figures are called Whispering Willows. She makes new friends, saves the universe, and develops new feelings for new people.
