After the Planeskeepers announce the next Chosen to bear their powers, Asahi Kawano once again fails to pass the test. When his mother dies, she passes her amulet to Asahi, where he finds it holds the Warpweaver, the captive father and creator of the Planeskeepers. The amulet cracks, releasing the once god, where he possesses Asahi and grants him the powers of the creator. The Warpweaver's Return is a story of a boy and his journey to bring down his gods, while keeping up with his best friend.
