Taking place in a fictional mid 19th century. Roman works for the Conservation Of Mortals Organization, which is against all beings supernatural. As a hybrid himself, his duty is to protect against Vampires. Roman crosses paths with Vin, after saving him from a vampire attack. Both wanting answers to this sudden swarm of blood suckers all over Silvercrest, they wind up working together. Who is the culprit behind all this supernatural phenomena? What happens when both discover the truth?
