Howard Flumsy is such a wimp he'd faint at the sight of blood! When God realizes he accidentally made him the unluckiest, cowardliest, and weakest man ever, he decides to make things right by giving him a Guardian Angel, Meredith. However, this is more than Howard can handle, as Meredith is a brutal warrior who loves going on killing sprees. Howard's cosmic bad luck keeps getting him into situations where Meredith unleashes unrelenting cruelty, and it gets him caught up in a plot to kill God!
