A grandfather and his grandson stop at a countryside shop. The boy is given a special coin, but the rabbit-shaped vending machine inside fails to give him any candy. After they leave, the machine suddenly turns into a living rabbit with no memories of who he is or why he exists. While wandering the shop, he accidentally brings another object to life — a cat-shaped clock. No longer alone, they decide to search for answers together.
