For all you history nerds following along, a lot of the things in this comic strip was real and recorded in Albert Speer's prison diary. One of those things is Long. He was an actual Scottish guard assigned in the prison. I tried my darnedest to find out more information about him, but so far the only record I can find is the Speer's diary.
