"The Smith" is a dusty page-turner from deep in the archives of the Martian Old West. Way back then, the boom towns sprouted up from little more than clumps of dust and the desperation for precious minerals. One of the most valuable members in any colony was a handy blacksmith, especially if the factory abandons their post. A great Smith was someone you could depend on to restore a horseshoe, or materialize a new heart chamber, or fix the hammer on your six-shooter... your one-stop shop.
