Like many others living in the village of Evergreen, Benjamin does not know how it survived. And why it was spared destruction in a world ravaged by otherworldly monsters. But peace has settled in there for some time, long enough for a curious little boy to start turning his attention to the world outside its fences. Of course, besides his friends, not all will approve his little adventures and bizarre discoveries - including the Thing keeping the peace of his fragile hometown.
