A rabbit goes missing from a normally peaceful colony, until a young hare, Whitefir, finds her body - slaughtered and eaten, but her killer is left unidentified. Peace amongst the colony starts to fall apart when the oldest, trusted leaders stay silent, leaving the rest in uncertainty and fear - what is the killer and who's next. Whitefir refuses to stay in the dark and goes to an adventure outside the safe known forests to find out what the killer is. Story inspired by Watership Down and LOTR.
