Deep in the frost-bitten forests of a fantasty world, a boy is trapped in a tree. Only for amusement, does a plague doctor help him. And only by a stubborn conscience, does the plague doctor save him from the persecuting knights of the lands. Will they escape their tyranny, or will the boy face a fate worse than death as he is plagued by illness?
