Due to advancements in genetic engineering, about 60% of the human race is born with special abilities referred to as genrings. The U.S.A. alone has already evolved to 45% of the population possessing some sort of special ability. Levi Mallory is fresh out of high school and is perfectly content with his simple Kentucky life, but his entire world turns upside down when he discovers that he might not be as human as he once thought.
