From the outside, the "misfits" (as they call themselves), seem like a noisy and rowdy bunch of teenagers. But on the inside, they are quite the opposite. Faith, the leader of the group, is hiding childhood trauma. The rest are dealing with problems of their own. When they meet Bryson, a closed off 16 year old, they become fast friends through their love of music.
