Ronni, a 20-year-old woman, flees from Chicago, Illinois to the east coast in search of Jay, who she was forced apart from in her teens. However, Ronni's father, a wealthy business man, is displeased with her abrupt departure from the family estate. In order to find her he hires a private detective to hunt her down. This story follows the growth of Ronni as she learns to deal with her past and stand on her own two feet.
