After the falling businessman Simon Anchor is shamed by the masses, a great terror known as the Ink makes a deal to help him, as long as his will is done through Simon as a living vessel, and an army is built to spread the maniacal plague across the realms. Mikaga and his squadron are deployed from the Guardian Corps. to fight against forces of nature that pose a threat to the inhabitants of civilisation.
