A jaded college freshman falls into a dark fantasy world -- the shattered mirror twin of her imagined safe place from her childhood. Falling into another realm was supposed to herald adventures, benevolent magic creatures, and quests with plentiful rewards. In reality, faeryland is a dark, dangerous place, and Aisling will have to give up her notions of the fantasy world of her dreams if she wishes to survive.
