The story takes place at the prestigious Apex Academy, a school known for training students in the art of summoning powerful abilities. Each student at Apex Academy must bond with their abilities. However, using these powers comes at a price—the more powerful the ability, the more it affects the user, mentally and physically. The school’s final-year exam, The Gauntlet is a brutal battle royale where students fight in teams of two for the chance to compete on the international stage.
