When the dragon Kai dies in a fight against his old mentor Andor, he is reborn a hundred years later as a baby dragon. Now he’s been taken in by the most pathetic species imaginable, humans. Though at first he plans to kill them and leave, he finds out that Andor didn’t die in their fight. Andor, who has sworn to kill Kai at any cost when he is reborn. Kai, now too young to stand a chance, is forced to stay hidden. Kai must now live as Liu, a human, which is harder than he thought.
